Clarity

Clarity has been coming to me a lot. It makes me chuckle because my given name is Claire, yet I don’t identify with it except on legal documents. I have never been clear about Claire. LOL

It is me and yet it is not me.   To use a quote I found on a post it note my daughter wrote when she was quite young:

If you don’t know where you’re going, you might end up somewhere else.”

This speaks to the heart of clarity.   When we put clarity in front of such things as intention – focus – thinking - we refine and clear up what may be muddy generalization.  Sure, I know what state I live in. Maybe even a few cities within the state. But to find my way to your house I need clear instructions, or I won’t get there.

That clear jewel tone mind – that droplet of mind intention - makes all the difference in the world when it comes to your aim – your goal – your intention or your own googley life mapping.  You must be exacting with the needle in acupuncture. Without a needle, a good approximation gives acupressure positive results too.  The healing potential is made more potent with clear intention and purpose behind it.

When we do Qigong sets involving the colors (or sounds) of the internal organs, we breathe in clear jewel tone colors, and we exhale turbid and cloudy colors (or sound) as we put our mind intention on the organ (and perhaps meridian). There we find the resonance and frequency of balance and harmony.

The minimum requirement of learning and 'playing' Dao Yin, Qigong and Taiji is to learn the external movements correctly, follow the principles and stay present in the moment.  They may look elegant or like the plain, dull, ordinary rock of a geode before it is broken open to reveal the amazing crystal interior. You can get measurable results if you practice … every day.  But that is still only the surface. Why not go for the gold. Mine beyond the surface into the many layers of the internals.  Add multitasking components to the choreography and follow breath, with movement and mind and map the internal body to the ever-evolving clarification of intention.

Don’t be contented with just knowing the surface. Dig deep into your practice – your purpose – your spirit. Be silent. Be still. And gain CLARITY in what the Dao is suggesting – has been – suggesting all along.

" Humans follow the earth. Earth follows heaven. Heaven follows the Dao. Dao follows nature." - Dao De Jing chapter 25

“She shows us only surfaces but Nature is a million fathoms deep.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson.
